Theory of Operation
ProElut® DNPH-Silica cartridges trap aldehydes and ketones in gasses by reacting them with the DNPH-Silica in the cartridge to form stable hydrazone derivatives. The derivatization reaction takes place during sample collection. The derivatives are later eluated and analyzed.
